The board of Liverpool Football Club has agreed to sell the
Premier League club to the US owners of the Boston Red Sox baseball
team.
"I am delighted that we have been able to successfully conclude
the sale process which has been thorough and extensive", chairman Martin
Broughton revealed.
New England Sports Ventures (NESV) owns several companies,
including the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Sports Group and Rousch Fenway
Racing.
